I have been having a weird time as of late with this. Sometimes I wonder if something I dreamed actually happened and vice versa. I know this happens to everyone but as of late it has been happening to me quite a bit. I think it has been heightened by the cocktail of substances I am on on a daily basis (nothing harmful except maybe some alcohol and occasional cigs). I've also been thinking that it's a great idea to do paintings on the walls in my apartment when I'm drunk. I didn't dream about that. It actually happened.

I finally have internet at my apt again
after literally damn near a year.
ANYWAYS I live in NYC and I am completely flabergasted that I missed this and did NOT see ANY of these whilst cruising through the city, which I have been doing alot more of lately because I have been skating again pretty much constantly.

"New York Street Advertising Takeover" Brings Art to Over 120 Illegal Billboards in NYC
Jordan Seiler's incrediblely ambitious "New York Street Advertising Takeover" became a reality yesterday, when over 120 illegal billboards throughout the city were white washed by dozens of volunteers.
NYSAT was organized as a reaction to the hundreds of billboards that are not registered with the city, and therefore are illegal. While illegal, these violations are not being prosecuted by the City of New York, allowing the billboard companies to garner huge profits by cluttering our outdoor space with intrusive and ugly ads.
After the illegal spots were white washed, late in the day yesterday over eighty artists transformed these spaces into personal pieces of art.
